The The fifth Seminar of the European Network focused on developing a Low Carbon
Economy from a regional perspective. The two main topics that were discussed were regional systems for energy generation and renewable energy sources. The Seminar took a close look at the programmes member regions have developed and dealt with questions like 'What possible routes are available and what obstacles might be encountered when it comes to implementation?', 'How should regions plan for a Low Carbon Economy?' and 'What experiences already exist?'.
